Shared first place with Koneru Humpy, 8 out of 11!

I finished in the joined first place, together with Koneru Humpy from India, she caught me in the final round when beating Zhu Chen, while I played a draw against Antoaneta Stefanova.

I choosed not to take too many risk in an Anti-Meraner Variation, because the tension was very high. For a little while everthing seems to work out perfectly for the sole win of the tournament, because Zhu Chen was on the verge of winning against Humpy. Too bad that she missed the best move and finally lost.

Anyway, it was a great tournament for me, with a 2663 performance and +31 on ratingpoints. Later I will give a review on my tournament in Qatar and also share more pictures with you.

Have a look at the final standings here.
